Job Description
Missions
This project combines experimental heat transfer, fluid mechanics, magnetohydrodynamics, and multiphysics modeling. The research will focus on nonlinear transport phenomena resulting from the coupling between thermal gradients and magnetohydrodynamic convection effects in electrically conductive fluids, with applications to next-generation thermal management.
Activity
This work will include the design and experimental characterization of device prototypes, supported by numerical simulations (e.g., COMSOL Multiphysics or equivalent software).
Your Profil
Skills
Experimental work, numerical modeling, theoretical analysis
Your Work Environment
A fully funded 18-month postdoctoral position is available at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) of Paris to work on an emerging thermal management technology for next-generation electronics. The position is funded by the program pre-maturation of CNRS Innovation, and therefore lies at the interface between fundamental physics and technological innovation, with strong potential for industrial impact.
