Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to research projects within the ANR LackSocialTouch program. The project aims to better understand the physiological and neural markers as well as the mechanisms underlying a lack of social touch through electroencephalography, fMRI experiments and training studies.
Activités
The postdoctoral researcher will actively participate in the design of experiments, implementation, testing, analysis, and dissemination of results (articles and conferences).
Compétences
- PhD in cognitive neuroscience or cognitive psychology
- Experience in EEG/ERP and/or fMRI
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab)
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., mixed models in R)
Desired skills:
- Specialization in one or more research fields: social cognition, multisensory perception, affective touch, action observation
Contexte de travail
The postdoc will work at the Saint Germain des Près site (Université Paris Cité) in the Perception-Action team's offices at the Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center (INCC). The position is available to work with Dr. Louise Kirsch. The postdoc will also have access to the UMR's BabyLab. The agent will be present at the host institution (Saint Germain des Près site, Paris Cité University) for 35 hours per week; remote work is possible by mutual agreement.
