Job Description
Missions
Advanced microscopy for biology generates data that is ever more abundant and ever larger in volume. Visualizing and annotating that data remains problematic, particularly in the context of AI-based methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a collaborative online solution suited to large-volume imaging.
Activity
- development of a high-performance online software solution suited to 3D colour data;
- integration of various analysis workflows, covering a range of data formats, including proprietary and community-developed ones;
- adaptation to AI-based methods, for annotation and verification.
Your Profil
Skills
solid programming skills;
proficiency in digital image processing and analysis techniques, including AI-based approaches;
a good understanding of biology and microscopy.
Your Work Environment
As part of the France BioImaging network, the Île-de-France node, of which the Laboratoire d'Optique et Biosciences is a member, has secured funding, in collaboration with INRAE's MIMA2 platform, for the development and deployment of a solution for the visualization and annotation of massive datasets.
The role will involve working closely with users and developing a fine-grained understanding of the ins and outs of their problems and their data, in order to deliver a reliable, secure and fast online software solution, built as much as possible on open source components.
