Activities
The candidate will integrate the Soft Matter Science and Engineering lab (SIMM-UMR7615, www.simm.espci.fr) at ESPCI. He/she will work on fabrication via micro/millifluidic approaches of monodispersed pores in soft matrices and study the drying of these pores by pervaporation.
Skills
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with experimental skills in material science, polymers, physical chemistry or mechanics. Previous experience in milli/microfluidics will be a benefit. Work Context
The PhD candidate will work at SIMM laboratory with internationally recognized reputation in polymer materials and benefit of the interdisciplinary environment of ESPCI school. He/she will be part of the CAID team. This contract is a part of a 4 year ANR project MAGELAn. Depending on the motivation of the candidate in the end of the contract, the post-doc may be continue working on the similar topic with different funding sources that are available in the lab.
