Frequent missions at CERN and other High Energy Physics Laboratories


The successful candidate will work on the construction of the ITk tracking detector, which is going to replace the present ATLAS tracker in the High-Luminosity LHC phase. In particular, the LPNHE group is strongly involved in the construction, test and quality assurance of the pixel modules.
A fraction of the time will also be devoted to contribute to the analysis of data collected during the LHC data-taking up to Run3; in particular joining one of the activities of the group in the physics of the Higgs boson decaying to heavy quarks.


Candidates should have a PhD in experimental high-energy physics by the date of appointment. Applicants should send curriculum vitae, list of most relevant publications, brief statement of research interests and arrange for three letters of recommendation.

Work Context

Candidate will work in the context of the ATLAS group at LPNHE, he will be based in Paris with frequent missions to CERN and to other High Energy Physics laboratories.
