Job Description
Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to research activities within the framework of the PEMFC95 project of the PEPR H2 program. He or she will participate in the supervision of an ongoing PhD project and will complete research work on the durability and performance of fuel cells operating at intermediate temperatures.
Activity
- Performance testing and evaluation of fuel cells
- Fuel cell ageing and durability testing
- Ex situ ageing of fuel cell materials
- Materials characterization
- Fabrication of Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA)
Your Profil
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of the operation of open electrochemical systems (fuel cells, electrolyzers, etc.)
- Proficiency in electrochemical characterization techniques and tools
- Knowledge of electrochemical modeling
- Experience with and understanding of transport phenomena
- In-depth knowledge of degradation and ageing mechanisms in materials used for fuel cells and/or electrolyzers
