Missions
The primary objective of the position is to develop experimental characterization tests to determine the thermal properties of new materials for electric battery modules. In the longer term, the aim is to secure a position for an experimental engineer within the laboratory, and thus participate in broader thermal measurement projects.
Activités
- Design and carry out experimental thermal characterization tests using various measurement instruments: diffusivimeters, conductimeters, calorimeters, etc;
- Develop or adapt measurement techniques for potentially complex materials.
Compétences
- Knowledge of heat transfer ;
- Practical knowledge of measurement, instrumentation and signal processing;
- Experience in experimental techniques for measuring thermal properties of materials;
- Use of Matlab-type calculation codes.
- Ability to work in a complex environment, interacting with a wide range of industrial and academic partners.
Contexte de travail
The position is part of the MATICS industrial project, involving a number of industrial and public partners: Saint-Gobain Recherche (leader, developer and manufacturer of materials), Verkor (manufacturer of electric batteries), Enersens (designer of innovative high-performance insulation materials), Ineris (public institute for industrial environment and risks), Lemta (host research laboratory).
- Environment and host laboratory :
LEMTA (Energy and Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Laboratory)
"Heat Management" team, specialized in thermal characterization of materials, scientific analysis of innovative thermal or thermodynamic systems (energy recovery, heat storage, thermal control), and direct or inverse numerical modeling of the systems studied.
Work in close collaboration with a post-doctorate in charge of the thermal modeling of battery modules, incorporating innovative materials.
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
