Missions
The Project manager will be endowed with the responsabiliy to ensure the animation of the consortium and to facilitate its general functioning in accordance with the terms of the grant agreement and the consortium agreement. In this contex, his/her duties will cover a range of tasks relating to the organisational, administrative, financial and legal management of the project, in strong collaboration with the scientific management team.
Activités
- Assist the scientific coordinators in supervising the implementation of the project and monitoring of the work plan;
- Develop and implement management tools necessary for project management (such as procedures, guides, standard document templates, collaborative platforms, setting-up the website, etc.);
- Prepare consortium meetings and write the minutes;
- Participate in the elaboration of some deliverables (data management plan, communication and dissemination plan, etc.);
- Lead the consortium and facilitate exchanges between partners;
- Implement internal and external communication actions (writing press releases, content for the website, social media etc.);
- Liaise between the Project Officer from the European Commission and the consortium;
- Raise partners' awareness on the dissemination of results, on gender equality, on science/society link and on environmental aspects.
- Assist the partners on the administrative aspects of the project, make sure the rules and administrative procedures specific to Horizon Europe are followed;
- Monitor the production of deliverables and participate in the writing of progress reports.
- Manage orders (if required) and monitor expenditures (funds breakdown, updating and monitoring the budget, internal financial statements, etc.);
- Coordinate the preparation, consolidation and submission of financial statements (reporting) in close collaboration with the European Projects reporting unit of the SPV, in compliance with the deadlines fixed by the European Commission;
- Ensure that all reporting documents are correctly written and that each partner keeps record to anticipate possible audits.
- Ensure compliance with the obligations outlined in the grant agreement and consortium agreement;
- Monitor and update (amendments) contractual documents.
Compétences
- Master or equivalent, including training in European project management;
- Good knowledge of the European Commission's management rules for the Horizon Europe programme;
- Knowledge of the operating rules of a public research organisation;
- Good knowledge in financial and administrative management;
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English (language of communication within the consortium);
- Knowledge and good practice of project management tools (spreadsheets, planning tools, etc.).
Contexte de travail
The Project Manager will joint the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Strasbourg (IPCMS and the Laboratory for Molecular Innovation and Applications (LIMA), more precisely the teams of the joint project leaders,to ensure the implementation and monitoring of their joint European projects entitled “FeROS” and “REMMIA", financed by the HORIZON-EIC-2025-PATHFINDEROPEN.

FeROS is a European project coordinated by Dr. Elisabeth Davioud-Charvet from the Laboratory of Molecular Innovation and Applications (LIMA). FeROS lies at the interface between medicinal chemistry, physico(bio)chemistry and parasitology. It aims at developing antiparasitic agents in human and animal health, and at identifying new therapeutic targets to effectively cure four human parasitic diseases that threaten the health of millions of people: malaria, Chagas disease, leishmaniasis, and schistosomiasis. The consortium consists of 5 partners, spread across 4 different countries.
REMMIA is a European project coordinated by Prof. Bernard Doudin from the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Materials of Strasbourg (IPCMS). REMMIA aims at recycling metals and rare earth elements (recycling of end-of-life magnets) through an innovative technique of separation, extraction, and filtration of metals. REMMIA offers a more ecological and efficient alternative for the purification and recovery of key materials that will be instrumental for the green transition. The consortium consists of 5 partners, spread across 3 different countries.

Contraintes et risques
Occasional travelling within Europe will be required.
