Missions
This project is part of the ANR StemIBD project, which focuses on the origin and function of Th17 stem-like lymphocytes in chronic intestinal inflammation.
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to identifying:
• How these stem-like lymphocytes are generated in lymphoid organs.
• The molecular signals responsible for their transition into pathogenic lymphocytes.
The project relies on preclinical models, patient cohorts, and in vitro analyses. It will be carried out in close collaboration with the various project partners.
Activités
• Cell culture: Primary culture of murine and human Th17 lymphocytes.
• Imaging: Flow cytometry, including multispectral analysis, and cell sorting.
• Animal experimentation.
• Transcriptomic analysis, including RNA sequencing (RNAseq) and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq).
• Scientific writing: Drafting projects and articles.
• Student supervision.
Compétences
Required Knowledge & Expertise:
• Expertise in immunology and Th17 lymphocyte biology.
• Expertise in cell biology.
• Strong knowledge of molecular biology (RNAseq).
• Excellent skills in animal experimentation.
• General knowledge of multiparametric analysis.
• Fluent scientific English.

Contexte de travail
The Osteoimmunology, Niches, and Inflammation team at the Laboratory of Molecular PhysioMedicine (Nice, France) is affiliated with CNRS, the leading research organization in France, and Université Côte d'Azur, recognized as a University of Excellence.
The laboratory is located at the Faculty of Medicine in the heart of Nice, in the stunning French Riviera region. It provides a high-quality scientific environment with access to all essential core platforms and strong interactions with clinicians.
Contraintes et risques
The research will be conducted in close collaboration with our French partners in Lyon and Nancy. The recruited researcher will be required to travel for research stays with these partners.
