The task will consist in the reflection and development of electronic devices connected to different types of supports, mainly intended for the development of sensors in the fields of sport, health or environment.


The task will consist of:
-Analyze and understand customer needs and user and environmental constraints.
-Participate in the reflections of customer needs and be a force for proposing solutions.
-Active monitoring of existing technical solutions in the field of IOT
-Reasoning on the electronic architecture in accordance with the constraints of each project
-Testing and validation of the solution
-Be curious, adapt to trends and customer expectations
-Express and transmit ideas to the team
-Participate in the development of innovative laser processes for integrated devices on different types of substrates


Skills required:
-Implementation of system with batteries (PMIC, ..)
-Implementation of modules: GSM/3G/4G modem - RADAR - Lidar - sensors
-Knowledge of communication buses (CAN, ethernet, i2c, SPI, RS232, RS485)
-Knowledge in analogical electronics
-Basic knowledge in C / Python programming to test the cards.

Work Context

It is specified that this recruitment offer falls within the framework of the France Recovery Plan on a research collaboration project with a company which will be submitted to the DRARI for validation.

The activity will be carried out partly in the laboratory and partly in the partner company.
The laboratory is the Mulhouse Institute of Materials Science. The company is Everblix (69).

The Institute of Materials Science of Mulhouse (IS2M) is a mixed research unit CNRS-University of Haute-Alsace (UMR 7361). Due to its multidisciplinary character, its scientific impact and its interactions with other fields, the laboratory is one of the structuring forces of the Materials and their applications landscape in the academic and industrial world, both at the regional and national levels. IS2M has been able to define its identity and acquire an undeniable visibility in the highly competitive international research landscape.
IS2M owes its reputation to the excellence of its research, to the scientific influence of its researchers and teacher-researchers and to the great professionalism of its research support staff. It also owes it to the attractiveness of the training courses in which the teachers/researchers are involved and to the professional success of its doctoral and post-doctoral students.
The general objective of the Institute is to advance the knowledge front in the field of materials.
This work will be carried out within the framework of the activities of the PHOTON team of IS2M which develops materials and processes for photo-induced micro-nanofabrication for applications in the field of optics, photonics and sensors. The team's full range of techniques will be available for the work.

Founded in 2015, Everblix is a technology creation company specializing in the Internet of Things. The company's areas of activity are diverse (connected textile, business management platform, plug-and-play technology kit). Since its creation, the team leads a user-centered IOT approach.
Everblix provides connected solutions based on its own electronic and software technologies, taking into account the usage environment. For this, the structure combines the know-how of designers, engineers and developers working together around a user-centered iterative approach.

The activity will be mainly carried out in the company's facilities (80% of the time planned on average for the contract). Regular trips to the laboratory are expected (20%).
The person recruited will be placed under the responsibility of Olivier Soppera (IS2M) and Arnaud Roquel (Everblix)
