Job Description

Missions

The recruited person will contribute to the analysis and valorization of soil data acquired within the framework of a transdisciplinary ANR project entitled " What can a territory do in the face of the Global Anthropocene crisis? Socio-environmental dynamics in the Brazilian semi-arid (TASAB)".

Strong data analysis skills
• Multivariate statistics
• Knowledge of soil science and pedogenesis
• Good English skills
• Excellent scientific writing skills
• Transdisciplinary experience would be an asset
• As well as, experience working with international teams
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and self-reliance skills. Initiative.
• Computer skills required (office software).
• Proficiency in using the necessary computer tools: R

Your Work Environment

CEREGE is a multidisciplinary research center specializing in geosciences and the environment. Ideally located in the heart of the Arbois Technopole in Aix-en-Provence and in the center of Marseille on the St. Charles Campus, it brings together researchers, teachers, and students passionate about environmental and climate issues. Its mission is to understand the evolution of our planet and to provide solutions to the ecological challenges we face. This unit (UMR7330 of the CNRS) belongs to the Pythéas Institute (OSU), a component of Aix-Marseille University, the CNRS Observatory of Sciences of the Universe (INSU), and is also affiliated with the IRD, INRAE, and the Collège de France. It is within this rich and diverse work environment that the recruited individual will develop their work in interaction with the laboratory's researchers and teacher-researchers, particularly those in the sustainable environment team they will join, as well as those working on the ANR TASAB project.
