The SPINTEC laboratory (CNRS/CEA) is looking for a microelectronics engineer to develop a spatial magnetic sensor in collaboration with LPC2E CNRS Orléans. This R&T project is mostly funded by the French spatial agency (CNES) and aims to produce a miniaturized magnetic sensor based on tunnel junctions.
The engineer, assigned to SPINTEC CNRS Grenoble, will carry out most of his/her work in a clean room on the Upstream Technology Platform (PTA/LTM CNRS).
The activities will essentially consist of:
- Carry out the various micro-manufacturing steps of the magnetic sensor according to the present process: optical lithography, RIE and IBE etching, electron beam deposition, PVD and ECD deposition;
- Observation, characterization tests at critical stages and ensure the traceability of the process;
- Develop and improve process: photoresist qualification, etching recipe validation, defect analysis and process development.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of micro-manufacturing technologies, be experienced and demonstrate autonomy and initiative.
The LPC2E Orléans and SPINTEC Grenoble laboratories have been working together for several years on this R&T project. The engineer will work in a team of 5 people from the 2 laboratories. He/She will be assigned to SPINTEC Grenoble laboratory located on the CEA site.
