Missions

The recruited candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning the project and experimental design, conducting experiments, interpreting and compiling results, and writing reports,
- Presenting results internally and at conferences,
- Writing scientific articles and funding applications,
- Conducting literature reviews and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant approaches and techniques in the development of therapeutic oligonucleotides.

Activités

Development of nanomedicines combining antisense oligonucleotides with conventional anticancer therapies in the context of treatment-resistant prostate cancers.

Compétences

- Molecular and cellular biology: Western blot, quantitative RT-PCR, protein–protein interactions, functional analysis.
- Microscopy (confocal and apotome); flow cytometry.
- Development of a biobank of organoids derived from prostate cancer patients for personalized therapy.
- In vivo experiments: antitumor evaluation, biodistribution, toxicity assessment, etc.
- Preclinical testing of therapeutic compounds (small molecules, therapeutic RNAs).
- Lipid nanoparticles: characterization and biological evaluation.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Participation in team projects; ability to work collaboratively and efficiently.
- Use of Biorender and Prism for graphics.

Contexte de travail

The work will be carried out within the RNAnoTHER laboratory (Inserm ERLU1326) at the Faculty of Health, La Timone site (CERIMED), under the supervision of Dr. Palma Rocchi.
