Missions
Dendrimer nanosytems for nucleic acid delivery
The candidate will construct, characterize and evaluate different dendrimer nanosystems for the delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics for immunotherapy against glioblastoma. This project is within a collaborative and interdisciplinary research consortium under the frame of H2020 Era-Net EuroNanoMed project “iNanoGUN”.
Motivated candidates with team-work spirit and background in nucleic acid delivery are welcome to apply.
Please submit online a single PDF file with detailed CV including education and work experience, summary of PhD thesis (< 1 page) and post-doc research (< 1 page) and three reference letters of the supervisors.
Activités
Design, characterisation and evaluation of dendrimer nanosytems for immunotherapy
The candidate will design, synthesize, characterize and evaluate different functional dendrimer nanosystems for the delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics in immunotherapy against the glioblastoma. The size, morphology, stability and capacity of these dendrimer nanosystems to transport nucleic acid will be studied using DLS, TEM, HPLC and fluorescent spectroscopy. Their delivery efficacy will be evaluated in vitro using cell-based experiment and in vivo using animal models. Also a structure-activity relationship study will be released to optimize the dendrimer nanosystems for nucleic acid delivery
Compétences
- Formulation, characterization and evaluation of dendrimer nanosystems for biomedical applications
- Nucleic acid delivery and functional assay
- Anticancer activity assay in vitro cell experiments et in vivo animal experiments
- Good communication and writing skill in English
Contexte de travail
As a joint research institute of CNRS and Aix-Marseille University, CINaM is composed of about 150 people and 5 departments and is located on the Luminy Campus in Marseille (France).
The recruited person will work in the group of Dr. Ling PENG in the Department of Molecular Engineering and Functional Materials (IMMF). This department is made up of 21 researchers and teacher-researchers, mainly chemists. English speaking is mandatory.
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
Contraintes et risques
Hygiene and Safety requirement related to the handling of chemical and biochemical products. The chemical and biological experiments will be carried out in the equipped and functional laboratory.
