Missions

This project aims to study the 3D printing of supported catalysts (prepared through the Polymer-Derived Ceramics (PDC) route) coupling the key properties required for oxygen evolution (OER) and hydrogen evolution (HER) reactions in an alkaline electrolyzer.

Activités

As part of the AMADEUS project, we offer a 12-month position for a post-doctoral researcher to tackle the specific challenges of 3D printing of catalysts in a unique collaborative environment. The researcher (M/F) will conduct research at IRCER on the following missions:
- the synthesis of precursors (preceramic polymers)
- their shaping by 3D printing using extrusion technology
- the study of the conversion of these precursors into inorganic nanocomposites
- the multi-scale characterization of materials, particularly structural
- electrochemical characterization (carried out at IC2MP)

Compétences

The post-doctoral researcher/engineer recruited should preferably hold a valid PhD with a specialization in materials science. Solid knowledge of 3D printing, ceramic synthesis and physicochemical characterization of inorganic materials including ceramics will be required. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent work organization in his/her work with accomplished team spirit. A good level of written and spoken English is required.

The research work will take place at the Institut of Research for Ceramics (IRCER, UMR 7315 CNRS/ Université de Limoges), in collaboration with IC2MP (Poitiers).
