Missions
The aim is to determine the conditions required to obtain ceramic parts with high dimensional tolerances. This study focuses on evaluating the possible geometry for the metamaterial applications. This work will be carried out within the IRCER's “ceramic processes” team, which uses a wide range of equipment related to ceramic shaping: pressing, casting, screen printing, etc.
Activities
The aim of the project is to:
- Evaluate the dimensional limits of studied processes.
- Develop and improve the existing protocol with a view to improving the dimensional tolerances of final parts.
- Optimization of process parameters in relation to the ceramic properties
Skills
- Expertise in ceramic processes or machining
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent verbal and written expression
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to work well in a team
Work Context
At CNRS, within the Institut de Recherche sur les Céramiques (IRCER), this job is part of the broader "Premat CNRS" project.
The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
