Missions
Shaping by tape casting process of ceramic multilayer systems
Activités
The mission is to shape multi-layer systems using a strip casting process. The project is divided into 2 tasks, as follows:
1) Development of an optimum casting formulation based on the starting powder supplied. Optimization of casting parameters and formulation (shoe height, strip viscosity, casting speed) will be studied to meet the specifications for the target application.
2) Study and optimization of sintering conditions for the microstructure of system

- Ability to work in a team and report on project progress
Contexte de travail
The work will be carried out at the IRCER laboratory (Institut de Recherche sur les Céramiques - UMR CNRS 7315) in Limoges (Centre Européen de la Céramique, 12 rue Atlantis, 87068 Limoges). IRCER (200 staff) is the largest academic laboratory in its field in Europe. It conducts collaborative research with companies on ceramic processes and new energy storage systems.
