In the contaxt of Naima (H2020) project, you will be in charge of the implementation of new positive and negative electrodes into real 18650 cells in strong relation with the French Start-up company Tiamat (www.tiamat-energy.com)


Electrode preparation for aqueous hard carbon active materials
Electrode preparation for organic cathode active materials
Prototyping of 18650 cyclindrical cells
Electrochemical testing and Validation
Post Mortem analysis


The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Material Sciences ideally with specialization in the field of materials for electrochemical energy storage. Knowledge of electrode formulation and electrochemistry are requested ideally with experiences in cell assembling in glove box. The candidate should present ability to work independently, be organized and has a very positive attitude to work in a team on multidisciplinary topics. Fluency in spoken and written English is requested.
