Missions

Manage a basic research group and coordinate and promote research projects within this group

Activities

Leadership and coordination of a fundamental research group. Organization and planning of several research projects. Participate in student training. Manage human resources for the group.

Skills

Lead, motivate and mobilize a team of employees. Define priorities for action and allocation of means / resources / deadlines. Ability to write funding applications Ability to manage research projects Good communication skills in English (oral and written) and scientific writing. Ability to work as part of a team.

Work Context

IBDM, located on the Luminy Campus, has a staff of around 220 permanent researchers, lecturers, engineers and technicians, as well as non-permanent CDDs, post-docs, PhD students and trainees, working in 21 research teams and 11 technical platforms and services. IBDM is a joint research unit under the supervision of the CNRS and AMU, exploring the field of developmental biology and associated pathologies. The person recruited will report to the laboratory management The laboratory is made up of several nationalities, so English is essential.
