Hired at CNRS within the Institute IC2MP (UMR 7285), the candidate will have as main task the elaboration and the characterization of nanomaterials used as anode catalysts for water electrolysis in alkaline medium. He(She) has to develop efficiently the ink formulation for the membrane electrodes assemblies(MEA). He(She) will write reports on the bibliography and the work realized.
-Elaborating the nanomaterials of transition metal oxides used as anode in alkaline electrolyzers
-Physico-chemical and electrochemical characterizations of synthesized catalysts
-Presentation of results at progress meeting with the company involved.
-Writing of reports (bibliography and experimental results)
- PhD in the following disciplines: electrochemistry, material sciences,…
- Solid experience in electrode nanomaterials synthesis and their electrochemical characterization
- Skills in electrochemical characterization of electrode materials
- Catalytic ink formulation for electrodes
- Solid skills in writing and oral communication
At the city of Poitiers within the IC2MP (Institut de Chimie des Milieux et Materiaux de Poitiers, UMR 7285 CNRS University of Poitiers, the candidate will work on a strategic subject of the energy transition in collaboration with a company. The research developed at IC2MP deals with the eco-design overall approach which includes the design and the development of active materials for energy conversion and storage. Therefore, IC2MP is the suitable work environment (research teams, equipments, plateformes, etc..) to succeed this project which involves a company, researchers of two teams MEDIACAT and SAMCat. The IC2MP is seeking the very good and motivated candidate for a post-doctorate researcher position in the field of transition metal oxide nanomaterials synthesis used as anode catalysts for water electrolysis. He(She) will work under the supervision of 2 responsibles of MEDIACAT and SAMCat the teams.

A PhD in Electrochemistry (or equivalent area) or in Materials Science, skills in electrocatalysis (materials synthesis and electrochemical characterization) are required. The post-doctorate researcher must have an excellent self-sufficiency, a critical ability and show his(her) capacity for a team work.
