Recruited by CNRS, the selected candidate will be part of the team “Catalysis and unconventional medias” within the Institute of Chemistry of Medias and Material of Poitiers ((IC2MP CNRS UMR 7285). He/She will work under the supervision of the manager of a French-Swiss collaborative project with the objective of preparing bioactive molecules for epigenetics.


The task will consist in preparing heterocyclic or peptidic molecules using as much as possible sustainable and biosourced chemistry and chemicals. The tasks will be: bibliographic research, planning of multistep syntheses, determination of structures, purity analysis, writing progress reports and publication, oral presentation of results.


Recent thesis on biomolecules for epigenetics or heterocyclic/peptide synthesis. Solid knowledge in multistep synthesis, mastering of French and English speaking, reading , writing.
The skills will be assessed by at least one publication as (co-)first or second author.

Work Context

IC2MP (http://ic2mp.labo.univ-poitiers.fr/) is based in Poitiers (France) and covers a large field of activity related to the chemistry of surfaces and medicine.
The Institute has all required equipments for this project (NMR, HPLC, MS)

Constraints and risks

Short missions in Switzerland are planned in the project. The candidates from outside Europe should ensure the will be able to travel in European countries
