Missions
Recruitment is part of the ANR ECLECTYC research contract, which focuses on studying conformational changes in enzymes of the multicopper oxidase family, particularly CueO.
The successful candidate will develop approaches in microbiology, biochemistry, spin labeling, and EPR spectroscopy. The objectives will be to produce and purify proteins of interest containing one or two non-canonical amino acids (aanc), to label these proteins using specific paramagnetic probes, and to study their dynamics and conformational changes in the presence of copper in particular.
Keywords: non-canonical amino acids, paramagnetic probes, spin labeling, EPR
Activités
- Production and purification of proteins containing ncaa
- Labeling of proteins using paramagnetic probes
- Spectroscopic (RPE, UV-vis, etc.) and biophysical studies
- Protein-protein interactions
- Data analysis
- Writing reports, oral presentations, writing articles
Compétences
Knowledge: knowledge of proteins, biophysical methods applied to proteins. Knowledge of biology and biochemistry. Proficiency in scientific English. Skills: experimental work on biological samples; experience in recording continuous wave EPR spectra would be an advantage; data analysis. Attitudes: ability to work/communicate in a multidisciplinary environment (physics, chemistry, biology), teamwork.
