Missions

Develop the “Regulators of self antigen expression in the thymus” project, which aims to characterize the role of the TCF7 transcription factor in the establishment of immune tolerance, in the team of Dr. Magali Irla.

Activities

- Design, implementation and execution of experiments.
- Analysis, validation and interpretation of results.
- Organize exchanges with collaborators involved in the project.
- Preparation of data for publication.
- Oral communication of the results.

Skills

- Expertise in T lymphocytes and thymic central tolerance.
- Multiparametric flow cytometry.
- Confocal microscopy.
- Molecular biology (scRNAseq approach).
- Animal experimentation and mouse models (autoimmunity).

Work Context

A mixed unit of the CNRS, INSERM and Aix-Marseille University, the CIML has around 200 staff and 14 research teams, and is located in the Luminy science and technology park in Marseille (France).
