Job Description

Missions

Analysis of immune cell populations in blood, Peyer's patches, and other murine secondary lymphoid organs under different treatments.

Activity

Management of mouse colonies (maintaining lines according to experimental needs using dedicated software and genotyping)
Animal experimentation (tissue collection)
Cell isolation
Preparation of cryostat sections
Immunofluorescence staining for FACS and microscopy
Analysis by spectral confocal microscopy and spectral cytometry

Your Work Environment

The Marseille-Luminy Immunology Center (CIML) is a joint research unit of CNRS, INSERM, and Aix-Marseille University, internationally recognized in its field. CIML brings together around 200 people of various nationalities working across 16 research teams exploring different areas of immunology.
Located in the Luminy Science and Technology Park in Marseille (France), it features state-of-the-art technological platforms (flow cytometry, microscopy, genomics).
The recruited candidate will join the “Integrative Immunology of B Lymphocytes” research team led by Pierre MILPIED at CIML and will work under the supervision of Hugues LELOUARD within a research group dedicated to studying the intestinal immune response and the role of Peyer's patch phagocytes in this process. The candidate will primarily interact with a PhD student recruited for the project.
