Missions

The candidate will carry out a research on the mechanisms of hyperacusis in an independent way. The techniques used will be those of psychology and experimental audiology in human subjects.

Activities

The candidate will be in charge of collecting data from patients with hyperacusis using different approaches in experimental audiology.

Skills

The candidate will be independent, fluent in French, and experienced with experimental audiology in human subjects.

Work Context

The laboratory is composed of around 20 researchers splitted into 4 teams and presents a focus on sensory and cognitive neurosciences. The sensory systems studied in the laboratory are the auditory, the vestibular and the somato-sensory systems. The candidate will join the team “Neural Dynamics and Audition” (NDA) leaded by Arnaud Norena (who will be the supervisor of the candidate). The team NDA addresses questions from integrative neurosciences and computational neurosciences to psychoacoustic and applied mathematics.
