Missions

First study have been performed on the synthesis of optimal miniature antenna based on Matlab Method of Moment code and commercial EM software.

The mission of this contract is to develop a Python version of this project including friendly-user interface. The project will be open source in order to gather a community of developers.

Activities

You will be in charge of :

• Defining the software global architecture
• Write and debug the code for the different function block
• Functional test on various antenna exemples
•Writing of a technical document to help future users
• Colloborate and discuss with project partners
• Prepare report and deliverable
• participe to project meeting

Skills

A good level in written and spoken is required. French is appreciated but not mandatory.
Deep experience in EM modelling and small antenna is a must.
Coding in Python will definitely help, but we are not looking for a student in computer science.
Knowledge in Methode of Moment is an asset.

Work Context

The objectif of GEOLOC project is the design of miniature terminal for accurate and low-power positionning.
The LEAT is in charge of the design of the miniature antenna.
The development of the EM tool will be done in collaboration with KTH Stockholm (Prof. Lars Jonsson).

Constraints and risks

LEAT lab is ZRR, and a formal authorization from national authorities is mandatory to access the lab
