Missions
The postdoc will belong to the “Biology of GPCR Signaling System” (BIOS) in the jointed research Unit “Physiology of reproduction and Behaviour (PRC,INRAE UMR85, CNRS UMR7247, Université de Tours). He/She will work under the supervision of team leader to target a receptor to modulate social interactions.
Activities
The position will involve several aspects:
- performing behavior tests
- Study the therapeutic target
- Publication of individual and collective research articles based on the generated data of the project
Skills
Applicants must have a PhD in Neuroscience or equivalent. Candidates must have published at least two publications as first author (or in redaction) on related project topic. Experience in biochemistry, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, behavior in rodent would be a plus as well as a FELASA B or C degree or equivalent. Essential criteria are excellent oral and written communication and argumentation skills, critical analysis, adaptation, risk management, writing of research article and English speaking and writing.
Work Context
The postdoc will belong to the CNRS, one of the most well-established French research institute in the World. Our unit is a jointed research unit between the CNRS, INRAE, the University of Tours, located at the Loire Valley INRAE research center. The project belongs to the topic of the research unit and the BIOS team, which provide all the financial and materiel support.

Short-term stay in France and abroad are expected during the employment. Part of activities may be done out of regular working days (WE).
