Job Description
Missions
As part of a project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), the postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the modelling of interfaces whose properties vary over time. The aim of the project is to develop theoretical and numerical models to describe, understand and exploit the physical phenomena associated with these dynamic interfaces.
The successful candidate will work at the interface between theoretical modelling, numerical development and the analysis of physical phenomena. In particular, they will be involved in designing models suited to the systems under study, their numerical implementation, and the analysis and interpretation of the results obtained.
Activity
Depending on the profile of the successful candidate, the work may include, in particular, the development of analytical models, the numerical solution of differential or partial differential equations, and the implementation of numerical methods suited to the dynamic systems under study.
Your Profil
Skills
Knowledge of physical and/or mathematical modelling;
Knowledge of differential equations, dynamical systems and/or partial differential equations;
Experience in the study of time-modulated systems, dynamic interfaces, wave phenomena or metamaterials would be an advantage.
Proficiency in at least one scientific programming language
Your Work Environment
The post is available within the POEMS laboratory.
