Missions
Produce an ethnographic synthesis of interdisciplinarity within the teams that are members of the PEPR O2R.
Activities
* Map the teams that are members of the PEPR and identify, within each sub-project, the activities of roboticists and of SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) researchers.
* Conduct a literature review aimed at shedding light on the challenges of interdisciplinary research (particularly between SSH and engineers) and at grounding O2R in past experiences from other fields.
* Carry out ethnographic fieldwork: meet O2R stakeholders and document interdisciplinarity in practice (the dynamics at work, latent difficulties, identified limits as expressed by the actors themselves, benefits already achieved and those expected, and the effects of this interdisciplinary dynamic on the way research is conceived).
* Produce an ethnographic synthesis of interdisciplinarity in practice based on observations and interviews. Identify practices that work and the difficulties encountered.
* Develop a methodological reflection on the identified challenges. Identify dynamics to be implemented or imagined.
* Participate in the work of the existing reflection group, prepare upcoming meetings, and produce meeting reports.
* Write the project results in French.
Skills
* Knowledge of qualitative methods in the social sciences, particularly semi-structured interviews.
* Knowledge of the socio-anthropology of technology.
* Research experience within an engineering community will be highly valued.

The Priority Research Programme and Equipment (PEPR) O2R proposes a multidisciplinary approach integrating the social sciences and humanities, digital sciences, life sciences, and engineering sciences within a research programme dedicated to the creation of organic robots, bringing together the robotics and social sciences communities.
The recruited researcher will be co-supervised by the coordinators of the “acculturation and methodology” axis of the PEPR O2R: Caroline Moricot (CETCOPRA, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Guillaume Morel (ISIR, Sorbonne Université).
The researcher will be hosted in both laboratories.
The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
Constraints and risks
The researcher will be hosted in both laboratories.
