Missions
Biogeochemical study of cereals dating from protohistory and antiquity in Champagne to reconstruct climatic variations and field fertilization practices.
Activités
Isotopic analyses (δ15N and δ13C) on plant remains from Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Ancient sites (wheat, millet, barley). Interpretation of results incorporating carpological, archaeozoological, and archaeological data. Presentation of results at conferences and in scientific articles.

- Knowledge: PhD in archaeobotany, knowledge of the historical and socioeconomic context of Protohistory and Antiquity in northern France
- Skills: Carpological analysis, isotopic analysis, statistical analysis

Contexte de travail
The multidisciplinary ANR MICA project aims to assess the impact of climate change on crop yields and its influence on the transformation of agrarian economies and agrobiodiversity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Full-time position. Work locations: National Museum of Natural History and CAV-CRAVO (Compiègne), assignments in archaeological repositories.
- Context of the position: Analytical equipment integrated into the BioArch UMR: archaeobotanical platform, isotopic preparation platform, SSMIM
- Resources provided (equipment, IT, etc.): Computer workstation, binocular magnifying glass, analytical equipment (IRMS mass spectrometer)
