Job Description
Missions
The successful candidate will contribute to the completion of a research project carried out within the framework of the ANR DOMINO program. More specifically, the position involves the characterization and catalytic evaluation of materials (metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and MOF-based composites) prepared by the project consortium, as well as the preparation of scientific publications reporting the results obtained during the project.
Activity
The researcher will evaluate the catalytic performance of these materials for the cycloaddition of CO₂ to epoxides, assessing both catalytic activity and enantioselectivity. She/he will also complete the characterization of the catalytic materials and, when necessary, carry out the synthesis of additional MOFs or MOF-based composites. The researcher will also contribute to the writing of scientific articles presenting the results of the project.
Your Profil
Skills
-The candidate should have demonstrated experience in the synthesis, characterization (X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), microscopy, NMR , ICP analysis, etc.), and catalytic evaluation of MOFs, particularly for the cycloaddition of CO₂ to epoxides. Experience in writing scientific publications is also required.
Your Work Environment
The researcher will work in close collaboration with three laboratories located in the Paris region: LRS (Sorbonne University), ILV (UVSQ), and ICMMO (Université Paris-Saclay). The position will therefore involve travel between these three sites, although the primary workplace will be the LRS.
Constraints and risks
The position involves the usual chemical hazards associated with a chemistry laboratory, as well as the use of pressurized equipment (autoclaves).
