Missions

The main mission of the candidate will be to carry out research in geometric deep learning (geometric deep learning), particularly as part of the analysis of biomolecular data. More specifically, the candidate will be responsible for developing new algorithms based on different representations of shapes (surfaces, graphs, volumetric representations) and testing them on benchmarks involving biomolecular data.

Activities

The candidate's daily activity will be to be part of the LIX research laboratory research group. This means attending group seminars, interacting with the supervisor of the research group supervised by Maks Ovsjanikov and potentially with students of the group, involved in related research projects. The main purpose of all work will be to publish research articles in high-level conferences and journals.

Skills

The candidate must have knowledge of geometric deep learning and biomolecular data analysis. The candidate must have a strong background in conducting high-level research and a strong publication record in relevant publication locations.

Work Context

This work will be carried out in the Computer Science Laboratory of the Ecole Polytechnique (LIX) in the research group supervised by Maks Ovsjanikov.
