Missions
We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate (M/F) to study the neural bases of speech perception in infants. This position is part of the project entitled “Neural Codes of Speech Perception and Learning in the First Year of Life”, funded by the Fondation Pour l'Audition and led by Claire Kabdebon.
Activités
- Development of experimental protocols adapted to infants under one year of age
- EEG data collection
- EEG data analysis (machine learning)
- Statistical analysis
- Interpretation and manuscript writing
- Presentation of the results at symposia and conferences
Compétences
- Expertise in neuroscience and/or experimental psychology
- Expertise in programming (Matlab, Python, R)
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and computing clusters
- Experience in EEG data collection and analysis
- Strong interest in developmental sciences
- Organization and rigor
- Good interpersonal skills
Contexte de travail
The research will take place at the Centre for Research in Psychology and Cognition in Marseille, within the Development and Phylogeny team. The candidate will also be affiliated with the Labo des Minots, the laboratory's babylab.
