Job Description
Missions
We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher (M/F) to join a research project focusing on the control of impulsivity in patients with schizophrenia.
The successful candidate will be involved in the development of computer-based tools and experimental control programs (in Python), data processing and analysis, liaison with hospital departments, conducting experimental sessions, literature reviews, and the preparation and writing of scientific articles.

• Develop data acquisition programs
• Process and analyze EMG/EEG data
• Relationships with hospital departments and clinical teams
• Conduct experimental sessions with participants/patients
• Write experimental and review articles
Your Profil
Skills
Skills and experience :
• At least two first-author publications on topics related to neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Strong experimental skills, particularly in working with patients and in electrophysiology
• Programming skills, particularly in Python
• Fluent in English and French
• Strong scientific writing skills, including the preparation of research articles and project proposals
• Good oral presentation skills
Knowledge :
• Knowledge of cognitive neuroscience and experimental psychology
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis methods
Personal qualities:
• Scientific curiosity
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
Your Work Environment
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week).
Working days are normally Monday to Friday. However, work outside regular working hours and days may occasionally be required, as well as travel to different experimental sites in Marseille or Aix-en-Provence.
The candidate will work on a research project funded by the FRC (Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale). The research project is supervised by faculty members and researchers from the CONTACT (Control, Attention and Timing) team at the Centre de Recherche en Psychologie et Neurosciences (CRPN, UMR 7077, Aix-Marseille Université, CNRS), located at the Saint-Charles campus of Aix-Marseille University in Marseille.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the project leader.
