Missions
Develop an integrated computer code based on machine learning and coupled with molecular simulations for the investigation of slow variables and transition pathways describing large conformational changes in complex biological systems
Activités
Designing and writing computer code, developing tools for high-performance simulation of biological systems, as well as performing and analyzing molecular simulations.
Compétences
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral candidate interested in molecular simulations, machine learning, and statistical mechanics to conduct research in the following areas:
(1) Development of data-driven schemes for the discovery of slow variables.
(2) Molecular simulations of complex mechanisms in large biological objects.
(3) Computational modeling of transition pathways in high-dimensional systems.
Prior experience in computer programming, machine learning algorithms, and molecular simulations of biological systems is highly desirable, albeit not absolutely necessary. A strong background in physical sciences, possibly in applied mathematics, is required.
Contexte de travail
