Job Description

Missions

The work will involve analysing phonetic data and developing new analysis tools based on LLMs. This research will be carried out from a socio-phonetic perspective.

Diachronic and synchronic data made available to the candidate will allow new linguistic hypotheses to be tested, in the light of recent advances in large language models.

Activity

The work will involve collecting and analysing these categories in pre-existing corpora, and classifying them for comparison with perceptual data.

Skills

A good command of phonetic analysis tools, as well as R and Python, will be essential

Your Work Environment

The work will be computer-based and will take place at the DIRVED, 4 rue des Irlandais, 75005 Paris.
