Missions

The hired candidate will join the Institut Denis Poisson (UMR CNRS 7013) on the site of the University of Orléans. He/she will work on different projects in the field of holomorphic dynamics in one or several complex variables, and in particular on projects related to the study of bifurcations.

Activities

- Research in holomorphic dynamics
- Collaboration with members of the "Analysis and Geometry" team at the Institut Denis Poisson, on both sites of Orléans and Tours
- Participation to seminars, workshops and conferences
- Publication of scientific papers

Skills

- PhD defended in mathematics, in the field of holomorphic dynamics
- Ability for teamwork
- Fluency in english

Work Context

The Denis Poisson Institute is a Mathematics and Theoretical Physics department, bilocalized on the Orléans and Tours sites, and has around 90 permanent faculty members, around thirty doctoral students, ATER and postdocs and around ten support staff members. Research revolves around four thematic teams:
- Theoretical Physics
- PDEs, modeling, simulation
- Probability, Algebra, Combinatorics, Ergodic Theory, Statistics
- Analysis and Geometry
