Job Description

Missions

In the framework of an ANR project aimed at developing room-temperature single-photon sources, we are seeking an assistant engineer to lead a photoluminescence experiment and characterize GaN samples fabricated by our partner. To this end, they will be responsible for:
Setting up, testing, and optimizing experimental arrangements.
Participating in the development of operating procedures, as well as data processing and analysis of test results.

Activity

Recording photoluminescence spectra
Characterizing single-photon emitter performance through interferometric measurements
Acting as the liaison between the laboratory growing the samples (CRHEA) and the laboratory handling characterization (INPHYNI)

Your Profil

Skills

Proficiency in photonic components (fibers, lasers, filters, etc.)
Proficiency in computer tools and automation of scientific experiments

Your Work Environment

The position is 100% on-site at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI).
The experiment is set up in a climate-controlled dark optics lab.
