Missions

Objective of this postdoctoral fellowship is to participate in the development of a research project in the framework of the ANR Gromeov, that is situated on the crossing between the study of group actions, dynamical systems in small dimensions, and of Zimmer program. It may also concern random dynamic systems on the circle, products of random matrices, geometric questions related to group actions, etc.

Activities

Standard mathematical research activity, active participation in work groups relative to the project and in the life of the laboratory.

Skills

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in mathematics before starting the job, and be a specialist in dynamical systems and group actions.

Work Context

The researcher will be received by the teams of Analytic Geometry and Ergodic Theory of the Institute of Mathematical Research of Rennes, University of Rennes 1.
