Job Description
Missions
The mission will be carried out within the ANR 25-CE40-1360 project "Isomonodromic Deformations and Modular Dynamics" which starts for a duration of 5 years.

The recruited candidate will develop his research in one of the project's themes and participate in the project's activities. The publications resulting from the post doc will be deposited on open archives and will mention the project.
Activity
The themes of the project are:
- isomonodromic deformations, Painlevé equations
- moduli spaces of connection modules, Higgs bundles
- differential Galois theory, transcendence
- singularities of differential equations, Stokes structures
- foliations and geometric structures
- character varieties and modular group
There will be regular meetings: Rennes (April 2026), Nice (October 2026), ENS Ulm (March 2027), Strasbourg (autumn 2027) etc...
Your Profil
Skills
The candidate must have solid skills in mathematics (PhD), particularly in one of the project's themes.
Your Work Environment
The workstation will be at IRMAR, on the Beaulieu campus of the University of Rennes. The recruited person will be part of the Analytical Geometry team and will participate in the life of the team (seminar).
