Job Description
Missions
As part of the ASSETS pre-maturation project, the candidate (M/F) will be responsible for preparing masks and inks, and for screen-printing coatings to create Peltier-effect thermal actuators (cooling and/or heating systems). These actuators will then be tested in various applications, such as environmental thermal sensors and queen excluder cooling in beehives. This will require developing test benches and performing thermal measurements.

-Preparation and execution of screen-printed depositions
-Development of thermal sensors/actuators and associated test bench
-Performance of thermal measurements (temperature, heat transfer coefficient)
-Report writing
Your Profil
Skills
-The candidate (male/female) must have knowledge in the following areas: materials science and thermal instrumentation.
-Experience in screen printing or thermal instrumentation would be an asset.
-Excellent writing and summarizing skills.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the project's scientific leads.
Your Work Environment
The successful candidate will be based in Nantes, working in one of two laboratories depending on the activity. For the production of screen-printed coatings, the position will be with the Chemistry and Interdisciplinarity, Synthesis, Analysis, and Modeling Laboratory (CEISAM-UMR CNRS 6230), located on the Science and Technology campus. The CEISAM,laboratory with approximately 140 staff members, coordinates research activities in the Nantes region in the field of Molecular Chemistry. For the development of sensors, test benches, and thermal measurements, the position will be with the Thermal and Energy Laboratory of Nantes (LTeN-UMR CNRS 6607), located on the Chantrerie campus. The LTeN,laboratory with approximately 75 staff members, has a strong focus on thermal and energy research and is located within the Polytech'Nantes engineering school.
