Development of new methodology for synthesis of mesoporous zeolites containing two crystalline phases with different framework structures. The mesoporous zeolites will be used in FCC process. The materials with well-developed porosity and acidity will be scaled up.
The Post Doc will be in charge of the synthesis of mesoporous zeolites for FCC catalytic application. A particular attention will be paid on the structure and scale up of the synthesis procedure. The optimization of the synthesis will be carried out in order to obtain materials with high hydrothermal stability, controlled diffusion and mesoporosity.
- Must have a doctorate in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science.
- A relevant experience in materials chemistry is mandatory.
- An experience in characterization of inorganic materials will be highly appreciated (IR, XRD, TEM, SEM, TG)
-We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to be the link between two teams working in material science
- Efficient in oral and written communications.
The project will take place within the framework of the collaboration between PetroChina Petrochemical Research Institute and CNRS managed by Dr. Svetlana Mintova ( Director of Recherche, CNRS, LCS UMR 6506, Caen). The work will be carried out at LCS - Laboratoire Catalyse & Spectrochimie (https://www.lcs.ensicaen.fr) located in Caen (Normandy).
The LCS has built its reputation on the preparation of zeolites and related porous materials and catalysis. LCS occupies a unique place to perform competitive research of the highest level in the field of porous nanomaterials. The selected candidate will be attached to UMR6506.
The contract is established for a period of 24 months with possible extension.
