The postdoctoral fellows will participate in the
development of the synthesis methods for the
preparation of nanosized microporous crystals.


➢ To develop a new mode of synthesis of nanozeolites
➢ To study, adapt and develop synthetic routes
appropriate for the project
➢ To combine the most appropriate
characterization methods in order to reach a
comprehensive understanding of the
physicochemical properties of synthesized
➢ To develop a set of experimental approaches
which will ensure the successful accomplishment
of the project


The expected competencies include
comprehensive knowledge of sol-gel chemistry,
hydrothermal synthesis (low prssure), colloidal
chemistry and physical chemistry
Deep knowledge in the methods used for
characterization of porous solids (XRD, NMR,
IR/Raman, Physi- and Chemisorption, DLSn
TG/DSC, microscopy)

Work Context

The Laboratory of Catalysis and Spectrochemistry (LCS) is worldwide known with the advanced studies on zeolite type materials. The laboratory disposes with unique IR facilities and world class NMR laboratory, as well as other spectroscopic technique as Raman and UV-vis. The working facilities and the equipment is fully operational, which will ensure perfect conditions for the exestuation of the current project.
