Missions
to work on the synthesis of nanozeolites with novel additives and templates for improving their capacity towards adsorption of oxygen and carbon dioxide. This project will focus on the use of colloidal precursors and advanced templating strategies to explore new pathways in zeolite synthesis.
Activités
Our research focuses on the synthesis of template-free nanozeolites for gas adsorption applications.
We aim to control their particle size and chemical composition to optimize the adsorption of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
The project also involves adsorption kinetics studies, powder formulation into various extruded shapes, and breakthrough curve analysis for different nanozeolite types.
Compétences
PhD in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
Experience in synthesis and structural characterization.
Familiarity with colloidal systems, ligands, and template- synthesis techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.
Contexte de travail
The post-doc will work within a dynamic research team, focusing on advanced synthesis of nanozeolites with additives and their advanced characterizations. The project is hosted by the laboratory specializing in zeolite chemistry and offers access to cutting-edge facilities.
The project will take place within the framework of the NZAMCO2 POST CARNOT- CNRS managed by Dr. Svetlana Mintova (Director of Recherche, CNRS, LCS UMR 6506, Caen). The work will be carried out at LCS - Laboratoire Catalyse & Spectrochimie (https://www.lcs.ensicaen.fr) located in Caen (Normandy).
The LCS has built its reputation on the preparation of zeolites and related porous materials. The selected candidate will be attached to UMR6506.
