Missions
The LCS seeking a highly qualified and motivated post-doctoral researcher for a project focused on the development of flexible nanozeolites. This position offers a unique opportunity to explore the structural dynamics of nanozeolites under varying conditions and contribute to advancing green synthesis techniques.
Activités
The research will center around high Al-containing nanozeolites with abundant water to control the population of cationic sites and different T-atoms. The project aims to understand the structural flexibility of organic template-free zeolite nanocrystals. Flexibility will be explored across zeolites with small, medium, and large pores and cages, driven by the movement of cations under specific conditions.
Compétences
• PhD in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
Experience in zeolite synthesis, structural characterization, or related areas.
Familiarity with characterization techniques such as XRD, TEM, SEM, and spectroscopic methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Contexte de travail
The project will take place within the framework of the ERC Advanced Grant ERC-2021-ADG (101054004): ZEOLIghT” Dual challenges in the discovery and sustainability of nanozeolites: controlling defect sites and structural flexibility- CNRS managed by Dr. Svetlana Mintova (Director of Recherche, CNRS, LCS UMR 6506, Caen). The work will be carried out at LCS - Laboratoire Catalyse & Spectrochimie (https://www.lcs.ensicaen.fr) located in Caen (Normandy).
The LCS has built its reputation on the preparation of zeolites and related porous materials. The selected candidate will be attached to UMR6506.
