Missions

The proposed activities are part of the ANR Just_Moral/ Trajectoire Région research project, which aims to analyse, among other things, the ways in which associations working in the field of justice are mobilised around climate issues - and for which the Pays de Loire Region has granted additional funding to produce scientific mediation tools. The TNRL programme (Trajectoire Nationale de la Recherche Ligérienne: https://dcs.univ-nantes.fr/fr/recherches-scientifiques/projet-tnrl-trajectoire-nationale-de-la-recherche-ligerienne-just-moral), led by Elisabeth Lambert, CNRS Research Professor, includes a number of initiatives, two of which have already been completed: the creation of a serious game based on the ANR research and the setting up of mock trials with secondary school pupils from the Loire region. The newly recruited research engineer will contribute to the production of scientific media under the supervision of Elisabeth Lambert (DR CNRS) and Katia Barragan (IE CNRS).

Activités

More specifically, the role will involve :
- Publishing a ScienceZine on citizen involvement in environmental health issues
- Mediation activities for a range of audiences based on the existing serious game
- Organisation of mock trials with secondary school students
- Support for mediation actions with secondary school students in association with the Nantes Tribunal
- Providing activities for young people at a Science Camp on sustainable food (with AFPER, CST and INRAE, in November 2025)
- Assisting the design of an illustrated book on ANR_ Just_Moral, aimed at non-academic audiences
- Promoting each action in videos
- Participation in events for the general public (such as Researchers' Night)

Compétences

Master's degree in scientific mediation with initial experience of working with researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Skills:
- Knowledge and mastery of software related to the required actions.
- Understanding of SHS issues
- Familiarity with the legal discipline and in particular the relationship between science and law
- Good oral communication skills
- good writing skills
- Organisational rigour

- Ability to work as part of a team in an academic environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take initiatives
- Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people

Contexte de travail

The newly recruited research engineer will work closely with the programme manager, Elisabeth Lambert, and with Katia Barragan (IE CNRS). Regular working meetings will be held.
He/she will be based at NANTES, Campus Tertre.
