Stimuli-responsive membranes are of particular interest for the elaboration of high selectivity functional systems with reversible properties. The porous membranes properties can be tuned thanks to the functionnalization of the pores surface. This technic allows to reach very interesting functionalities such as valve-effect controlled by an external stimulus, here the light. The use of light as a trigger is of a particular interest to control dynamically and reversibly material transfer thanks to several advantages (fast, neutral, local, reversible). The project consists in the elaboration of porous membranes with a photo-controlled valve-effect.

Polymers, Biopolymers, Surfaces laboratory is an academic research laboratory associated to CNRS and to INSA of Rouen. The laboratory projects are focused on 3 main points :
- Cells-surfaces interactions
- Bio-based materials
- Transport properties of polymer
The team MPBM (Polymers Materials Barrier and Membranes) recruits a postdoctoral researcher for one year. Its works are focused on the study of polymer materials and membranes with controlled barrier proeperties.
