Missions

The mission consists of synthesizing and crystallizing in significant quantities (min 100 mg) single-crystal phases of paramagnetic dithiolene complexes with strong absorption in the near-infrared (NIR-II), toward the preparation of molecular materials with photothermoelectric properties.

Activités

- Organic chemistry synthesis and heterochemistry (sulfur, selenium) to prepare ligands and their precursors
- Coordination chemistry, crystal growth, study of molecular properties (electrochemistry, spectro-electrochemistry, absorption spectroscopies)
- Large-scale electrocrystallization and sample shaping for electric measurements

Compétences

-Knowledge/Expertise:
(i) Proficiency in synthesis techniques in molecular chemistry and heterochemistry,
(ii) Proficiency in synthesis techniques in coordination chemistry, working under an inert atmosphere,
(iii) Proficiency in electrocrystallization techniques.

Additional knowledge in crystallography and optical spectroscopies would be an asset. - Ability to write technical reports and manage projects involving numerous samples
Ability to report effectively and interact with the environment
