The researcher will work within the Condensed Matter and Electroactive Systems team of the ISCR on the theme of photoelectrochemistry. He (she) will work on the preparation, the electrochemical characterization of a new generation of photoelectrodes.


Main activities:
-surface preparation
-surface modification
-characterization with the methods available at the ISCR
-electrochemical and photoelectrochemical studies


The recruited person must have a doctorate in chemistry and strong skills in materials science, electrochemistry, a high motivation for research, being good in English as well as an ability to work in a multidisciplinary group.

Work Context

The Institute of Chemical Sciences of Rennes (ISCR-UMR6226) is a Mixed Research Unit associating the CNRS, the University of Rennes1, the ENSCR and the INSA. This institute results from the grouping of all the academic forces in chemistry on the Rennes site. It brings together more than 290 permanent staff with an overall workforce of nearly 500 people divided into 8 teams. The researcher will be recruited into the MaCSE team and will work under the supervision of Gabriel Loget (CR CNRS).
