Job Description

Missions

Conduct and coordinate scientific research on the OREXOCUB project (CNES Research Grant 2026) and contribute to the scientific and technical supervision of the laboratory's astrochemistry experimental and analytical activities.

Activity

Activity 1, Conducting experimental research and data analysis in the field of astrochemistry: Setting up and monitoring experimental protocols; Analyzing and interpreting scientific results
Activity 2, Scientific coordination of the CNES APR 2026 project: Monitoring scientific and administrative milestones; Preparing reports and communicating with CNES
Activity 3: Contributing to the drafting of scientific articles and papers.
Supervisory and coordination activities: Co-coordinating a project involving 1–3 people; supporting doctoral or postdoctoral students in their project-related work

Your Profil

Skills

Knowledge
Expertise in experimental astrochemistry, knowledge of laboratory protocols, familiarity with CNES projects and scientific project management
Skills
Conducting complex experiments, analyzing scientific data, scientific writing, project coordination, communicating with internal and external partners
Interpersonal Skills
Autonomy, rigor, teamwork spirit, ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment
Management or Facilitation Skills
Scientific leadership, ability to share knowledge, collaborative spirit; management of priorities and short-term scientific objectives, communication with CNES and partners

Your Work Environment

Position based at the UTINAM Institute; close collaboration with the CNES APR project team and CNES partners.
Resources provided: Access to experimental laboratories, analytical equipment, and measuring instruments; a computer and scientific data processing software; access to CNRS databases and documentary resources.
Key stakeholders: The UTINAM teams (researchers, postdoctoral fellows, engineers, and managers), scientific partners at CNES, and national and international academic collaborators in the field of astrochemistry.
